NO ENTRY AFTER 8:30 PM. NO STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE DANCE AFTER 8:30 PM.

What’s the theme of the dance?

A Night in New York. The colors are purple, black and silver. It does NOT mean you have to dress in these colors (but you can if you want to!)...It means we will use these colors to decorate.

What do I wear?

The dance is semi-formal.
PLEASE do not bring backpacks/large bags. They will NOT be allowed into the dance and you will be required to check it at the coat check.

Where and when do I buy tickets? What is the cost?

Tickets will also be sold in person, in the concession stand across from the cafeteria, on Friday, Sept. 1, Tuesday, September 5, Wednesday Sept. 6, Thursday, Sept. 7 and Friday, Sept. 8. You can pay with cash or check.
After purchasing your ticket (online or in person), you will receive an official ticket with your name and QR code. All tickets will be mailed to the SCHOOL email within 48 hours of purchase, starting on September 5th.
The ticket cost is $20 (online AND in-person) until September 8th
The ticket cost is $30 (online and at the door) on September 9th.
GUEST TICKETS WILL ONLY BE SOLD UNTIL TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Are tickets sold at the door?

Yes, but only for Shepard Students and the ticket cost is $30. Why pay extra? Buy your ticket prior to September 9th!

What if I want to bring a guest from another school?

You can bring ONE guest from another school.
There is NOT a form to fill out to bring a guest but you will

need the following information to buy their ticket.

MAKE SURE IT IS SPELLED CORRECTLY otherwise it

will delay the process.

Guest’s First AND Last Name
Guest’s ID number
Guest’s School Name
Guest’s DEAN’s email address

Make sure your guest is not on social probation at their school because if they are, they will not be able to attend the dance
We will verify the guest with their home school. You don’t need to do anything other than make sure you provided the necessary information and that everything is spelled correctly.
ALL Guest Tickets will be emailed to the SHEPARD STUDENT’S SCHOOL EMAIL on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH.
You and your guest will enter though the guest entrance (Door 11 in the lunchroom). You need to arrive together and both have your school IDs.
All guests must be currently enrolled in a high school and MUUUUSSSSST bring a valid school ID to check in. (so, can you bring your 18 year old date, who went to Shepard, and graduated just last year?-NO, YOU CANNOT)

GUEST TICKETS WILL ONLY BE SOLD UNTIL TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5TH. NO EXCEPTIONS.

OTHER INFORMATION

Is there a professional photographer at the dance?

No. There will be an instant print photo booth.

Is there food and drink at the dance?

The concession stand will be open to purchase snacks, candy, drinks, and pizza.
We will have a separate line for water sales.

Is there a coat check?

Yes, we encourage you to check your personal belongings and not leave them laying around for others to “find.”

Is there transportation to or from the dance?

No. Everyone is responsible for their own transportation. Parents, please be timely with your pick up. The dance ends at 10:00 p.m. Security staff must remain with them until you arrive, it is not fair to them to be late. Please plan accordingly.

HOMECOMING COURT PROCEDURES

Homecoming court is open to SENIORS ONLY
To access the nomination form, make sure you are signed in with your school google account
You can nominate one senior student for King and one senior student for Queen.
Make sure you know their first AND last name, so we know who they are.
If you are nominating someone, make sure they actually want to be nominated.
One nomination per student
Yes, you can nominate yourself
Nominations are being accepted until September 1st
Final Voting will take place September 5th and 6th via a google form sent to self service.
IMPORTANT!! If you want to hang up signs around the school you can BUT 1) you can hang up to 25 signs/posters AND they must be stamped for approval in the activities office (near the main entrance, Door 1) by Ms.Kaffo

Where do I park or where is the drop-off location?

All parking and drop off will be in the BACK parking lot. Enter through door 12 if you are a Shepard Student and through Door 11 (lunchroom) if you are bringing a guest from another school. Both entrances in the front of the school will be CLOSED. Only the NORTH drive (by the softball field) will be available for entry.
